The Media Majlis at Northwestern University in Qatar is presenting an in-depth look at one of the most important topics of today, the metaverse, at its seventh exhibition, MetaWhat? This multi-faceted exhibition takes the audience on a journey through today’s digital landscape across many thematic installations: MetaWorld, MetaPurse, MetaCreate, MetaExperience.

The visual language of MetaWhat? is built on one question: “What does the Metaverse enable?”. In collaboation with Khajag Apelian, we created a variable typeface that embodies the three concepts the Metaverse enables: The capacity to shapeshift, a sensorial internet (one you access spatially) and a re-production of our current world.
